In the past, stress was mainly considered an individual problem that required direct intervention on each person; over the years, however, scientific evidence has accumulated about the fact that, frequently, even work organization can be at the origin of the determination and / or aggravation of stress.

This booklet, translated from German, discusses briefly some aspects of the prevention of work related stress, both in terms of the interventions that organizations can put into place and with regard to the proper behavior of workers in order to minimize the risk factors of stress. It also specifically presents the strength points (resources), which companies and individuals can rely on to take effectively action against stress.
